VisionBook Air Max Ultra: At Last, an Apple MacBook Display with Absolutely No Bezels

Guess what? YouTuber Luke Miani just dropped a cool concept – a MacBook Air with a fully bezel-less display, powered by an Apple M1 or M2 chip. He calls it the "VisionBook Air Max Ultra," and it's making waves. Now, Luke is the guy who's famous for giving his MacBooks a second chance at life, even if they've got a busted screen.

In his latest video, which you can check out at the end of this read, Luke goes through 32 steps to unscrew the display of his MacBook Air 13 M2. Then, he pairs the headless laptop with his Apple Vision Pro. Surprisingly, the Apple laptop can team up with the Vision Pro, even without its own display. Turns out, the wireless modules' antenna cables aren't inside the display chassis.

So, here's the magic – the beheaded MacBook Air gets detected, and a virtual display pops up above the "laptop." You can move the screen to where the physical display used to be and resize it. You can also throw in extra virtual windows of the Vision OS in the real world, controlling them with the keyboard and touchpad of the decapitated MacBook Air.

Now, you might wonder, what's the big deal? Well, here are two cool things to think about:

Firstly, if you've got a MacBook Air M1/M2 with a smashed screen, no worries! You can still use it without an external display, making it handy on the go. Of course, it only makes sense if you already own a Vision Pro. Secondly, the real kicker is a creative and downright funny commercial clip in the video around the 8:40 mark. You'll hear slogans like "You can't crack a screen that isn't there."

In a nutshell, this concept might not be super practical for everyone, but it sure brings a smile to your face and shows there's always room for some tech humor. Cheers to Luke Miani for thinking outside the bezel!
